Troy Pictures Inc. is a creative Film and TV production company based in Toronto, Ontario, Canada creating a synergy of African and Western stories that increase understanding through the power of high quality entertainment.

The owners have a combined 41 years of experience in the industry.

Neil Schell has been writing, directing and producing content in both Canada and Kenya since 2010 prior to which he was acting in feature films, television and commercials. In his early film industry days, Neil was apprenticed as a film editor in Los Angeles at a time when computerized editing wasn’t even a thought.

With over 150 episodes directed as well as a feature film and several short films he brings his wealth of experience as a producer/writer/director to Troy Pictures providing a solid foundation for the company.

Olive Tambwe is a graduate of the prestigious Cape Town university City Varsity with a degree in Film Production. She has produced several short films and a feature film. Her youthful energy and ideas drive the company into producing entertaining productions relatable to young African audiences.
